Against the backdrop of the accelerated development of green electricity direct supply modes, the local matching, direct power supply, and coordinated operation of renewable energy generation and hydrogen production loads have become an important pathway for enhancing green electricity accommodation and supporting the large-scale development of green hydrogen. However, renewable energy-based hydrogen production systems still face the prominent challenge of strong fluctuations on the power generation side and stringent operational constraints on the hydrogen production side. In off-grid scenarios, insufficient power balancing and stability support capabilities pose significant challenges, while in grid-connected scenarios, coordinating efficient renewable energy utilization with grid-friendly integration remains difficult. This Special Session focuses on optimal operation and stability control technologies for grid-connected and off-grid renewable hydrogen production systems, covering planning and capacity configuration, high-efficiency power conversion, coordinated control of power converters and electrolyzers, harmonic suppression, optimal regulation, and stable operation, with the goals of achieving high renewable energy utilization, high hydrogen production efficiency, and high operational reliability. It aims to provide theoretical and technical support for improving the operational efficiency, dynamic regulation capability, and stability of renewable hydrogen production systems.
