Special Session SS10

High Voltage High Power Density Servo Motor and Drive System for Space Applications

Introduction:

To support the development of high-power spacecraft such as large communication satellites, space stations, and Space Solar Power Stations, space servo motor and drive-control systems must adapt to the space environment and meet requirements for high voltage, high power, lightweight design, and miniaturization. However, the complex space environment (e.g., high vacuum, extreme temperature variations, intense radiation), stringent mass and volume constraints, and extreme reliability demands pose significant challenges to the near-limit design, efficient manufacturing, stable control, and precise evaluation of motor systems. This special session will focus on cutting-edge technologies and innovative achievements in high-voltage servo motor systems for space applications, jointly exploring how to break through the performance limits of high power density, high reliability, and long lifespan in space motor systems.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
1. Influence Mechanisms of Space Environment on Motor Insulation;
2. Influence Mechanisms of Space Environment on Power Semiconductor Device;
3. Multi-Objective Optimization Design of Space High-Voltage Motors;
4. High-Reliability Manufacturing Processes for Space High-Voltage Motors;
5. High-Power-Density Design of Space High-Voltage Drivers;
6. Stable Control of Space Servo Motor Systems;
7. Reliability Assessment of Space Servo Motor Systems;
8. Ground Simulation Test of Space Servo Motor Systems;
9. Applications of High-Voltage Servo Motor Systems in Space
